Dillon’s Health & Safety (H&S) group is looking for a Health & Safety Analyst to join our team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on positively influencing our health and safety performance and our safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities
What your day will look like
Reporting directly to the Director, Health Safety, the successful candidate will be an important contributing member in a small team of Health & Safety professionals. Specific responsibilities include:
Health & Safety Performance Reporting and Analysis
- Dillon’s subject matter expert for our Vector third-party H&S software platform, including building checklists and forms, managing access, LMS content, dashboards, and system integration. Collaborate with Dillon’s IT department and liaise with the Vector team to ensure system efficiency and objectives are maintained.
- Maintaining and analyzing health and safety records, including training, hazards/incidents, audit assessments, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Maintaining and analyzing the health and safety incident reporting and field assessment database.
- Tracking progress towards meeting Health & Safety objectives and targets.
- Preparing H&S performance reports, scorecards, and charts by collecting information, conducting research, compiling and analyzing data, identifying trends, and formatting reports to support decision-making.
- Manipulating and analyzing data sets, pivot tables, and Excel/Google worksheets. Expertise in Power BI or equivalent data software is an asset for generating statistical dashboards.
Health & Safety Administration
- Maintaining health & safety pre-qualifications, contractor approval programs, and vendor management systems (e.g., ISNetWorld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).
- Supporting the development and maintenance of H&S training content.
- Providing administrative support in data entry, formatting, proofreading, electronic document control, and preparing reports, letters, alerts, and memos.
- Supporting calendar management, scheduling, conferences, and travel arrangements for the H&S team.
- Investigating, recommending, and implementing technological solutions for data management, live meetings, training, and conferences.
- Organizing materials and logistics for meetings and recording actions.
- Revamping and maintaining H&S communication pages/portals for functionality and user-friendliness.
- Handling inquiries via phone, email, or in person, and escalating as needed.
- Establishing and maintaining administrative policies related to Controlled Documents and workflows.
- Managing the production of WCB clearance certificates and H&S proposal information.
- Performing other related duties as needed.

Qualifications
What will you need to succeed
- Degree or diploma in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience, with preference given to those with H&S and/or consulting experience.
Experience
- Advanced computer skills including Excel, Google Suite, Power BI, Camtasia, MS Office.
- Experience with H&S prequalification databases (e.g., ISNetWorld, Avetta) is an asset.
- Experience maintaining intranet sites (e.g., SharePoint).
- Experience handling confidential information and knowledge of data privacy laws.
- Strong time-management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
