This is a Part-Time, Seasonal position at our Airdrie, AB Dealership. Hours will be determined by business levels. The dealership is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday; the successful applicant must be available to work when scheduled.

The PDI Tech is responsible for preparing all service and sales units for customers, assisting with checking in new units, setting up show units, and taking inventory pictures.

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

1. PDI’s (Pre-Delivery Inspections) of rental units, including small repairs such as appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and oil changes.
2. Review vehicle work orders.
3. Relaying major repair needs to the Fraserway Service department.
4. Supplying RVs with rental equipment.
5. Assisting the Fleet Coordinator to ensure smooth vehicle turnaround.
6. Topping up vehicle fluids.
7. Vehicle transfers between Fraserway Dealerships, storage locations, and external repair shops.
8. Winterize and de-winterize RVs.
9. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
10. Other duties as assigned by Rentals Manager.

Requirements

• RV & Trailer repairs experience is an asset.
• Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical (Automotive or Industrial).
• General house renovation skills.
• Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers are assets.
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Comfortable driving vehicles up to 30 feet.
• Weekend work and overtime during peak season.
• Good diagnostic skills.
