Your Role

Senior Software Developer to join our small but mighty team. You will support and extend our public-facing web properties, including the main Jane website, Front Desk Digital, and various campaign and promotional pages. You will help modernize our technology and user experience by building on our new Content Management System (CMS) and contributing to the growth of our Design System.

You will work with design, marketing, and content teams to deliver performant, accessible, and SEO-friendly experiences, contribute to A/B testing and optimization efforts, and help connect with potential customers. If you enjoy working across the stack, leading by example, and crafting thoughtful digital experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

The Experience We Feel We Need
  • A University Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field plus approximately 5+ years of experience. Those with a Master’s or PhD may be considered with less experience. Alternatively, candidates with 8+ years of industry experience through non-traditional paths, such as bootcamps or self-teaching, are encouraged to apply.
  • Senior-level depth with experience leading technical design, architecture, and delivering medium to high-complexity projects, with solid understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior and intermediate developers, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Proactive in addressing technical challenges to ensure smooth delivery with scalable, maintainable solutions and strong code quality, test coverage, and development workflows.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to learn new technologies and contribute across multiple domains with ownership and accountability for team deliverables.
Compensation & Benefits

We are committed to paying fairly and transparently. The salary range for this role is $128,000 to $200,000 per year. Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role is $152,000 per year. Salaries above this usually apply to existing team members with significant impact and Jane-specific knowledge.
