Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes and portion expectations
• Supervise a small team of staff
• Ensure proper presentation and garnishing
• Lead by example, delivering exceptional service and food
• Properly garnish food orders as received, following recipes and presentation standards
• Support team members in your section to achieve quality standards
• Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times
• Ensure section cleanup in accordance with procedures

What You Bring

• At least two years of experience in a cook position or extensive culinary experience
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent
• Red Seal or equivalent certification is an asset
• Solid understanding of meat, starch, sauces, soups, and food safety
• FoodSafe Certification is an asset
• Knowledge of pastry, sauces, and line cooking
• Strong leadership and training skills
• Calm under pressure with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
