Qualifications

• Two to three years’ experience in zoning or a related field.
• Full membership or eligible for full membership with Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and Ontario Professional Planners Institute (O.P.P.I).
• Working knowledge of Zoning By-laws and the Planning Act.

Responsibilities

• Apply and review zoning by-laws for building permit applications.
• Coordinate pre-permit zoning review for Builders in a Plan of Subdivision.
• Respond to public inquiries related to zoning requirements.
