We are currently looking for a Youth Development Coordinator (Awake Overnight) for our Wellington group home. This home is a new initiative that provides a safe and stable living environment with individualized support and around the clock care for sibling groups. The program will also have a strong cultural component, with a focus on strengthening relationships and supporting Indigenous young people and their families toward reunification.
The Youth Development Coordinator will take on a caregiving role within the group home by providing a caring and nurturing home environment that is committed to ensuring daily needs are met in a safe and supportive way. The Youth Development Coordinator will practice from a trauma‑informed framework to embed a youth development approach that is both strength based and relationship based.
