We’re looking for a dynamic content creator who will write news stories and edit video content for our scheduled newscasts and 24/7 streaming service. The ideal candidate knows how to write for news in broadcast style and knows the basics of desktop editing. You should also have a passion for local news, strong editorial judgement, and are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow while working alongside a talented, innovative and fun team of journalists.

What You’ll Do
  • Working independently or as part of a team, you will create fast‑paced, compelling and informative news content for our 24/7 streaming channels and our scheduled newscasts that you write and edit.
  • Pitching during daily creative brainstorms and story meetings
  • Emailing, Tweeting, calling and interviewing people as you chase, research, and create enterprise or breaking news content, as well as content for our new prime time news specials.
  • Creating, independently or as part of a team, innovative video content optimized for streaming and digital platforms.
  • Ensuring that content is factually and grammatically correct.
