Overview

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is offering road maintenance opportunities across Alberta. You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of Alberta highways, using various heavy equipment. Rates & Premiums
  • Base hourly rate from $26.50/hour to $31/hour based on experience
  • Premiums starting at $6/hour for night shifts and operating class 1 equipment
  • Premium up to $14/hour when performing winter operations as a Class 1 operator and while operating the tow plow unit
  • Extended health, dental, pension and RSP provided by CLAC
Work Conditions
  • Shift work, on-call, and night shift may be required to respond to weather patterns
  • Season runs October 1, 2025 – April 2026
  • Staff accommodations can be provided in Edson (no travel allowance or LOA provided)

  • Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways year-round, including labour duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
  • Work outside in all weather conditions

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
  • Clear 3-year driver’s abstract
