YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

As an Intern reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor you'll be integrated into the Maintenance Planning Department and collaborate closely with other Departments of the operation. Your role will involve ensuring the achievement of set goals and objectives while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental values.

  • Mobile and fixed equipment PM programming and task list development;
  • Support Planning and Scheduling of preventive maintenance
  • Maintenance Inventory optimization;
  • Planning procedure update
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or technical program in Mechanical or related field;
  • Students must be enrolled in their university’s formal Co-op program.
  • A strong ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as a member of a team is required.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to handle change.
  • Demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written as well as presentation skills required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and/ or JDE.
  • Promote a safety mindset and approach to ensure that all projects and activities carried out comply with safety regulations and AEM standards.

Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule
  • 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
