We are seeking a Wildlife Technician to become part our dynamic team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will provide technical support for wildlife monitoring and assessment projects in northern Alberta. Tasks will vary by season. In autumn and winter, work will primarily be composed of wildlife sweeps along with data analysis and reporting in support of those sweeps. In spring and summer, work will include wildlife sweeps, breeding bird and amphibian surveys, wildlife monitoring programs, and amphibian salvages, along with data entry, analysis, and assistance in the writing of reports. The successful candidate can expect extensive field work at remote and mine-site locations in northern Alberta. This is not a fly-in/fly out role, and requires relocation to Fort McMurray.
