• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welding & Fabrication Shop Laborer to join our Team.

Position Summary

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position

Full-time condensed work week: 10 Hours/day, 4 Days/week. Overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Grinding metal for weld preparation
• Daily shop cleaning
• Machinery preventative maintenance
• Assist welders and machine operators as required
• Parts/delivery driving (drivers abstract required)
• Operate metal saw
• Operate presses
• Banding/packaging materials for shipping
• Empty garbage bins
• Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.
• Other duties as they arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and ability to provide a drivers abstract upon request.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Steel toed work boots (all other PPE provided by employer).
• Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.
• Experience with fabrication & welding is considered an asset.
