Responsibilities

  • Help gather and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for welding projects.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by removing rust and debris; perform grinding and sanding as needed.
  • Move materials to and from work areas safely using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks.
  • Hold or clamp metal parts in position for welding.
  • Keep welding tools and equipment clean and in working order.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
  • Inspect finished welds and components for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Keep track of tasks completed, time worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our welders and production team to support a variety of welding and fabrication tasks, including:
