Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining contracted assets (roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) through operation/use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs (i.e., snow plow operations), and any other needs per the contract requirements. This position requires a highly developed sense of safety awareness and perceptive ability. You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident. You must be able to communicate safety instructions to co-workers. You must be able to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings while using tools and equipment, including while driving or operating equipment. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
We are seeking Snow Plow / Seasonal Equipment Operators for the seasonal time period of October through April.

Primary Responsibilities And Key Deliverables
For Winter Season – Removal of snow and ice using snow removal and/or sanding equipment, including salting and other seasonal maintenance on roads, bridges, etc.
For Summer Season – This role will maintain and repair highway and other surfaces including signs, guardrails, fences, lighting, potholes, striping, adding or replacing reflectors, litter and debris removal.
