Overview

Communications & Website Coordinator – One-Year Full-Time Term Position with option to renew. Location options: Central New Brunswick, Mainland Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island. Hybrid work environment: in-office two to three days per week. Application Deadline: April 28, 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination & Management – manage, with a professional agency, the development of a highly functional website for United Way Maritimes that enables effective storytelling, usability, reporting at local and regional levels.
  • Communications & Marketing Plans – lead and contribute to the development of communications and marketing plans related to fundraising, donor stewardship, community investment activities, and campaigns.
  • Supporting Team Activity – support the Marketing & Communications team with various projects, priorities, and events as needed.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, or a similar field (or equivalent life experience, self-guided learning, and transferrable skills).
  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience; nonprofit experience is an asset.
  • Experience managing and updating organizational website(s).
  • Experience coordinating with agencies or consulting partners on website revamps, major updates, or new site development.
  • Preference for experience writing for donors and/or in a nonprofit social service setting.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations (personal, volunteer, or professional capacity).
