As a Water Quality Scientist, you’ll join North America’s largest water quality team—over 30 experts strong—working on projects that protect aquatic environments and support sustainable resource development. Based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatoon, you’ll collaborate on multi-disciplinary initiatives that influence permitting, monitoring, and environmental stewardship for mining, municipal, and energy sectors.

Your Impact

• Design and deliver water and sediment quality assessments that safeguard ecosystems and meet regulatory standards.
• Lead field programs for baseline studies, aquatic effects monitoring, and mine closure projects across Western Canada.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to inform decisions on multi-million-dollar projects.
• Collaborate with biologists, toxicologists, geochemists, and hydrologists to secure environmental permits and approvals.
• Mentor emerging professionals and contribute to a culture of learning and technical excellence.

The skills that set you apart
