Watches & Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist

Location : CHANEL Yorkdale Boutique, ON

Reports to : W&FJ Boutique Manager

Contract : Permanent, Full-Time

Your role @ Chanel :

As a Watch & Fine Jewelry Specialist, your role will be to help maximize and support all sales opportunities while maintaining the CHANEL standards for W&FJ. You will also create strong partner relationships by collaborating with CHANEL Fashion Advisors in accompanying clients through the Watches and Fine Jewelry universe. You will also help build brand and customer loyalty through excellent client service, product knowledge and care, personal presentation and teamwork.

Drive the Watches and Fine Jewelry business on a day-to-day basis with a strong commitment to client experience and a sales-oriented mindset;

Responsibilities
  • Create a standout experience for all clients by establishing their needs and preferences before sharing brand story and product expertise;
  • Acquire and apply high standards of product knowledge and selling skills to maximize all sales opportunities across all categories of the division including High-end watches and High Jewellery;
  • Be the Watch and Fine Jewelry EXPERT when collaborating with Fashion Advisors who are introducing WFJ pieces to their clients. Help support the “styling” journey with clients who are being introduced from Fashion;
  • Maintain an awareness of Company and Boutique sales targets and performance, working towards all commercial objectives and goals set, including unit targets (as directed by W&FJ Manager);
  • Collaborate with Management, Head Office, and team members to support local events;
  • Complete any necessary administration, adhering to set procedures and policies as appropriate;
  • Assist with regular stock level checks and ensure a high level of aftersales care through attentive follow-up;
  • Establish and maintain sufficient knowledge of current merchandising guidelines as well as the ability to always maintain set standards.

  • 3+ years of Luxury retail selling experience, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting;
  • Knowledge of operational standards and tasks;
  • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills (essential);
  • Professional presentation and behaviour.
