Qualifications

  • Currently completing post secondary education in business, supply chain or engineering.
  • Strong problem solving skills are required.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
  • A keen interest in Supply Chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with process mapping and documentation.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and failure investigation.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • Support warehousing projects and assist in daily operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to prioritize and complete projects.

Overview

Reporting to the Warehousing Specialist, the winter student would receive an opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Cavendish Farms Supply Chain. This includes Planning, Logistics, Customer Service as well as Optimization.

This role offers great opportunity for visibility and career development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a "Can-Do" attitude and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with process mapping and documentation
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and failure investigation
  • Continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in warehousing projects
  • Assist in daily operations using various supply chain systems and software
  • Work cross functionally across departments to ensure projects are being prioritized and completed on time
