Currently we have an opening for a Warehouse Technician. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the shipment, receipt, and the distribution of materials in a timely manner.

What you will be doing
  • Account for all materials and supplies in the facilities; audit goods received into warehouse.
  • Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Process sales orders and invoices.
  • Update and maintain the warehouse location system.
  • Participate in customer on-call services as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Environmental Health and Safety
  • Comply with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses. Perform risk assessments (“Take Five”) prior to each task.
  • Maintain orderly work area and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.
  • Attend Environmental, Health and Safety related trainings.
  • Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) assigned for each task.
What you will bring along
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse or inventory experience.
  • Experience in mining operations is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating a forklift is required.
  • Experience using computerized inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
  • Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel for a week at a time
