Salary range : $65K (According to the experience)
Some of what you will do:
The Fulfillment Center (FC) Supervisor is responsible for first-line management and overall performance of his/her their department. This position is responsible for preparing and planning strategies to meet the department’s daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Responsibilities also include coaching and managing associates to high performance standards and recognizing individual and team success. The FC Supervisor works in closely with the senior management team in the pursuit of operational excellence and the facility’s all-around success.
Specifically, you will:
Achieve performance goals and objectives in the areas of productivity, accuracy and expense control, as depicted by the budget.
Make appropriate improvements to department processes and procedures including developing and executing action plans.
Collaborate with the facility managers in the hiring of skilled associates.
Develop individual associate’s skills, standards and morale through training and coaching including giving consistent feedback, conducting Performance Appraisals and delivering disciplinary action if necessary.
Direct, support and delegate tasks as appropriate to an individual associate’s skill level.
Read, understand and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; use these reports to evaluate department’s performance.
Foster an environment of communication and teamwork to aid in the accomplishment of operational goals.
Understand and use Fulfillment/Distribution technology (i.e., WMS where appropriate, hardware and software components) and maintain control of department functions and procedures.
Understand all safety procedures; ensure safe work practices are followed and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
Some of what you need:
1 to 3 years of work-related experience in a warehouse environment is required
1 to 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience is preferred
Ability to operate warehouse equipment is required
Experience and working knowledge of warehouse systems, processes and productivity standards (WMS - AS400, computerized systems, SPC – statistical process control – and related ability to recognize, articulate and address variances in processes)
Knowledgeable in the areas of computer applications/software and ability to analyze and utilize technical/financial/material reports.
Proficient in problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills.
Able to work well under pressure
Possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment.

May be required to work a flexible schedule and be available based on the needs of the business.
Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform essential duties of the job:
The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
