Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team and ensure the accuracy, organization, and efficiency of warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following safety and operational protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding a clean and well-organized warehouse environment.

Job Duties
  • Verify all incoming shipments against packing slips to ensure accurate receiving.
  • Pick and pack items from designated warehouse locations for processing and shipping.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately stored to match the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Assist with product receiving and put-away processes.
  • Pack and prepare shipments according to company standards to ensure safe delivery.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Submit photographs of all outbound orders for record-keeping.
  • Report any damaged customer products to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and the Inventory Specialist.
  • Properly operate warehouse machinery and equipment with discipline and care.
  • Follow management directives and warehouse procedures safely and efficiently.
  • Report any safety concerns to management and/or the safety committee.
  • Conduct dock sweeps to inform CSRs of outstanding shipments.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach by acknowledging and assisting visitors and clients.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and ensure inspection forms are properly recorded.
  • Report stock discrepancies or shortages to the Inventory Controller and CSRs.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization—”See it, Own it, Do it.”
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipment tracking.
