Job Overview

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for a Warehouse Officer for an immediate position located within the East Ottawa area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and waxing floor surfaces using mechanized cleaning equipment as required
• Fixing machines
• Deliveries and following the schedule
• Being handy is an asset
• Vehicle maintenance and tire changing
• Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
• Operate carpet machines of various types
• Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors and window sills
• Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture and door handles
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Required Skills/Abilities

• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience (an asset)
• Must be able to lift 40lbs plus on a regular basis
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Reliable
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• Must live in the Ottawa/Gatineau region
