What you’ll do

As the Warehouse Manager, you’ll oversee the full scope of warehouse operations, including leadership, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics. Your responsibilities will include :

Leadership & Operations
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure all orders are picked accurately and shipped on time to meet daily deadlines.
  • Plan and adjust deliveries for company trucks and third-party shipping providers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
  • Rotate stock regularly and ensure proper handling of products with best-before dates.
Purchasing & Forecasting
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to forecast purchasing needs using ERP reports.
  • Purchase products from vendors worldwide, factoring in freight costs, exchange rates, brokerage, and tariffs.
  • Oversee receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Shipping & Logistics
  • Match all shipped orders with waybills and ensure accuracy of documentation.
  • Collect signed invoices and customer payments from drivers.
  • Address and resolve shipping issues such as mis-picks, shortages, or breakage.
  • Make judgment calls when customers miss ordering deadlines, determining when exceptions can be made.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven leadership experience in warehouse management or related operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with ERP systems for forecasting, purchasing, and logistics management.
  • Knowledge of freight, brokerage, and international purchasing processes.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
  • Foodservice industry experience is an asset but not required.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, ready to take on the challenges of a growing company.
