Reports to the Warehouse Manager
Ensure labor is distributed according to workload, Help enforce Policies and Procedures, all order timelines are being met (75%).
Be a conscientious employee by acting professionally, respectfully, and in leading by example to ensure high morale and safety is maintained at all times in the warehouse (20%).
Liaise effectively with sales and administrative personnel to ensure interdepartmental communication is timely and accurate (5%).
Lead a small team of warehouse associates in receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping — ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time.
Oversee daily workflow: assign workstations, manage shift priorities, and adjust tasks as needed based on volume.
Enforce and model all safety protocols (PPE, safe material handling, etc.).
Train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff — ensuring the team fully understands procedures, quality expectations, and safety practices.
Collaborate closely with procurement and sales to coordinate shipments and manage inventory flow, helping ensure customers receive orders without delay.
Previous warehouse experience — ideally in electrical distribution or a similar field (not mandatory with a strong warehouse background).
1–3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Familiarity and comfort with warehouse systems.
Strong leadership and communication skills — able to effectively direct a team, maintain productivity, and uphold safety and accuracy.
Physically capable of performing warehouse duties, including lifting/moving materials, and staying active on the floor.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
