A local cooperative in Lloydminster is looking for a Full-time Warehouse Clerk to manage the receipt and storage of agricultural products. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure safety standards are upheld. Two years of inventory management experience and a Grade 12 diploma are preferred, along with necessary certifications. The Lloydminster and District Co-op is currently recruiting for a Full time Warehouse Clerk for our Lloyd Agro location.
Assists in coordinating the receipt and storing of farm supplies within the facility. Checks for damaged articles, quality and quantity and record quantities received and reports to manager with regard to damaged items and shortages. Plans to coordinate the proper warehousing of product.
Coordinates and assists in delivering product to customers in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintains current and accurate records of merchandise entering or leaving the warehouse. Ensures that all product leaving the warehouse has been paid for prior to loading.
Be familiar with different the different product lines of merchandise carried in the Agro Centre.
Responsible for the security of the warehouse area – receiving doors locked at all times except receiving or shipping merchandise, in and out shipments properly accounted for, etc.
Performs the responsibilities of other Agro Centre team member positions during staff absences in order to optimize the efficiency of the Agro Centre. This may require cross training in various positions.
Operates and services equipment used in the movement of farm supplies. Operates by industry regulations in the handling and storage of grain and farm supplies. Completes related documentation.
Coordinates warehouse space with shipping and receiving. Maintains farm supply product condition by turning and monitoring. Conducts regular inventory checks.
Operates by health, safety and fire prevention procedures and regulations.
Keeps facilities and grounds clean and tidy, well maintained, and free from fire hazards. Carries out a regular preventative maintenance program and conducts minor repairs.
Performs other related duties as required.
