Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our parts distribution and shop floor operations based in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day warehouse activities with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring documentation is accurate.
- Load and unload shipments safely.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and physical counts.
- Update and track inventory in SAP (training provided if required).
- Process customer-supplied materials and returns.
- Follow FIFO processes and monitor shelf-life items.
- Prepare stock transfers to other warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.
- Safely lift and handle items/packages up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Comfortable using computers; SAP B1 ERP experience an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift certification and safety training considered assets.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-focused.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Physically capable of performing warehouse duties.
