Overview
12 Month Contract role in the warehouse environment focusing on shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities in the warehouse are maintained.
- Receiving: log and verify all inbound shipments for material identity, quantity, and any shipping damage; coordinate receiving inspections within established SOPs; input all inbound receipts in the Innomar WMS and fill out corresponding documents; complete stock putaways using MHE.
- Quarantine of product for inbound receipts and returns per Innomar SOPs.
- Picking of product for orders provided by the CSR or Management; ensure orders are picked and packed according to SOPs and client requirements to meet daily commitments.
- Packing of product with blind checks to verify product and quantity; pack in accordance with SOPs and client requirements.
- Stock replenishment of picking locations using material handling equipment as required.
- Returns processing within established timelines.
- Prepare shipping documentation (waybills, dangerous goods IATA paperwork, customs papers) and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Manage inventory movement in a FIFO or FEFO manner with safe and organized flow of goods.
- Maintain data integrity of inventory systems through accurate material transactions and routine cycle counts.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Coordinator, or QA staff with handling of released product.
- Assist QA with maintenance of facility temperature monitoring process.
- Production assembly and supplies management (e.g., refrigerated box assembly and frozen handling; supply kitting).
- Implement Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- GMP & Regulatory Compliance: protocol adherence; sanitation and pest control per SOPs; handling sensitive products per SOPs; regular GMP training.
- Systems training: operate Innomar’s WMS and related software; function within the system; operate Innomar’s TMS software; use RF scanning guns for picking, packing, and transfers including receiving.
- Be prepared to participate in other related projects and perform other duties as required.
- This position description may be reviewed and changed at any time to meet company needs. May be required to be on standby/on call.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and mathematics).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily; ability to perform repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting.
- Able to work in a cold environment daily.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities; independent worker with minimal supervision.
- Licensed to operate material handling equipment (e.g., Raymond Reach) with at least 2 years of experience.
