A Toronto-based private equity firm is looking for a VP Finance to oversee corporate financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a CPA or CA designation and at least 6 years of experience in finance, preferably within private equity. This leadership role involves working closely with the senior team and managing fund operations, compliance, and risk management. Strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role.

As VP Finance and our first in-house finance lead you will play a critical role in overseeing the firms corporate finance function and fund administration. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in finance experience in multi-entity small business environments preferably with experience in private equity operations and the ability to drive financial excellence across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with the leadership team external service providers and stakeholders to ensure compliance accuracy and strategic alignment of all financial activities. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the firms growth and success while ensuring the integrity of its financial operations.
Reporting to the Managing Partner the successful candidate will be responsible for corporate accounting financial reporting and the fund operations needs of our organization.
