Job Description

TD Securities (TDS) is a top two dealer in Canada with a growing US business and global execution capabilities, offering a full suite of capital markets and corporate and investment banking products. Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) is a key contributor to the overall success of TDS, delivering revenue and liquidity to the firm from various sales and trading business lines. Within North America, GFX is comprised of Corporate, Institutional, Commercial, and Retail/Wealth units.

The Retail & Wealth Distribution and Product Innovation group offers Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, and Investment products sold through the Retail and Wealth channels of TD Bank Group. The team focuses on delivering products and services to customers of TD Canada Trust, TD Wealth, TD Commercial Banking, and TD Bank, America\'s Most Convenient Bank. The team\'s mandate is to increase profitability and manage day-to-day business elements including product development, risk management, marketing and communication, digital sales, product innovation, and reporting/analytics.

Role: VP, Digital Sales

The VP, Digital Sales is a digital product owner role responsible for the day-to-day ownership of the retail TD Precious Metals (Canada) digital store. This includes ownership of the product roadmap and strategic integrations with a focus on revenue generation, solving complex operating issues, and optimizing processes. The role requires innovation, optimization, and automation as the business and digital landscape evolve. The candidate will need to efficiently launch, manage, operate, and grow eCommerce sites.

Reporting to the Director, U.S. Product Innovation and North American Marketing & Digital Sales, the successful candidate will adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage time and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage key relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Own and implement the Digital Sales strategic roadmap, managing continuous implementations and optimizations for the TD Precious Metals eCommerce site and integration of prioritized items for the TD Foreign Currency eCommerce site (in partnership with Product Managers, Retail FX and Metals Desk, and vendors).
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams on product launches and campaigns; partner with stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness of the eCommerce platform.
  • Drive growth objectives with Marketing using SEO, Paid Search, Email Marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization.
  • Support site deployments, product launches, marketing initiatives, site enhancements, maintenance, and end-to-end testing activities.
  • Provide QA/testing support as needed (integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, deployment verification).
  • Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution on operating issues of varied complexity.
  • Lead process optimization to enhance operational effectiveness of eCommerce sites.
  • Stay current on eCommerce trends to maximize opportunities.
  • Seek opportunities to automate and drive efficiencies.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
  • Proven experience with digital sales and/or eCommerce.
  • Proven ability to deliver results, solve problems, and bring projects to market.
  • Experience with Marketing tactics such as SEO, Paid Search, Email Marketing, and Conversion Rate Optimization.
  • Experience with testing/QA (regression testing, business acceptance testing, test strategy and test case development).
  • Critical thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day operations and resolve issues to ensure 24/7 operation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable recommendations.
  • History of impacting and executing strategies to deliver results in the short and long term.
  • Team player with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a matrix environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience or understanding of retail banking, foreign exchange, and precious metals is an asset.
  • Familiarity with HCL Commerce, Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar is an asset.
  • Proficient/fluent in French is an asset.
  • Minimum requirement of a 4-year degree (BBA or B.Comm, or equivalent).
