Job summary

A local government museum is seeking a Visitor Service Attendant for a part-time summer role to provide excellent customer service at the reception desk, assist in community engagement efforts through research and social media content creation, and support public events. This position, available in the City of Lloydminster, requires effective communication, professionalism, and is open to students with a rate of $18.05 per hour.   • Responsible for light housekeeping duties of the reception building.

Visitor Service Attendant – Museum - Summer Student, Part-time (1 Position Available)

Term of Employment: Part‑Time, Summer Term (24–32 hours/week, April 27, 2026 – August 21, 2026)

Rate of Pay: $18.05 per hour (Student Wage Band, subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)

Current Location: Lloydminster Museum & Archives (LMA) & Weaver Heritage Park (WHP)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reception duties, including operation of the front desk, answering inquiries, processing admissions and retail sales, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Research and develop resources to help share information about the City of Lloydminster and region’s recreation and tourism offerings.
  • Assist with developing written content for social media, in‑house signage, and program plans.
  • Responsible for light housekeeping duties of the Reception Building.
  • Assist in supporting public events.
  • Participate in the City of Lloydminster’s Safety Management System.
  • Other related duties from time to time as required.

Schedule: This position will work days, evenings and weekends.
