Job summary

A local community organization in Ottawa is seeking a Director of Youth Programming who will lead the coordination of dynamic programs for children and youth. The ideal candidate should have Jewish community experience and skills in planning age-appropriate activities. The position requires a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years in Jewish community work required.
  • Experience collaborating with staff and/or volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement programming for children and youth.
  • Serve as staff liaison to the Youth Committee and KBI Board.
  • Submit monthly reports to the KBI Board.

Skills

Jewish leadership in a synagogue, school, or camp setting
Experience planning and implementing age-appropriate programming
Strong knowledge of Jewish values, traditions, and customs
Strong interpersonal skills
Hebrew proficiency
