Veterinarian, DVM

Location: Vancouver, BC

Cats Only Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a full-time Veterinarian to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinary professionals.

Job Class: Full-time hours. If you are looking for slightly fewer hours, please reach out to discuss.

Job Level: Intermediate experience, 3 years post-grad with feline dental expertise

Weather: Amazing!!

Responsibilities

In this role, you will examine patients to diagnose and treat health needs. You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures, including physical examinations, immunizations, and surgeries. You take pride in providing expert patient care!

Qualifications
  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
  • Minimum 3 years of experience post-grad performing grade 2/3 feline dental procedures
  • Experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians to support you
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • A love for all companion animals
Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 plus production based on experience. The annual salary range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
