Various Clerical Positions – Inventory

This selection process establishes an inventory of candidates to draw from when vacancies arise for a variety of clerical positions across Central Region. Applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for future assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining an electronic database of clerical positions, perform various clerical tasks, and support the RCMP inventory management system.

Qualifications
  • Secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience maintaining an electronic database.
  • Experience performing various clerical tasks.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in using an RCMP database (e.g., ACIIS, SPROS, CPIC, E&R, Livelink, iRIMS).
  • Experience in using a Human Resources Management System such as PeopleSoft or HRMIS beyond self‑service.
  • Experience in a leadership role or supervising.
  • Experience in a Human Resources environment.
  • Experience in using a financial database (e.g., SAP or TEAM).
  • Experience in maintaining or monitoring a budget.
  • Experience in preparing financial forecasts.
  • Experience in providing financial support services (e.g., travel and invoice processing).
  • Experience in Government of Canada procurement procedures.
  • Experience in procurement of goods or services in a work setting.
  • Experience in fixed asset management.
  • Experience in providing advice to clients and management.
  • Experience in fleet management administration.
  • Experience in the administration of federal government policies and/or guidelines.
  • Experience in processing Access to Information and Privacy Act requests in a federal government environment.
  • Experience in creating and/or delivering presentations or information sessions.
  • Experience in mediation portal usage.
  • Experience in a medical setting and interpreting medical benefit entitlement policies.
  • Experience liaising with internal and/or external clients.
  • Experience in providing training and records management.
  • Experience in a training environment.
  • Experience in RCMP recruiting administration and working in a law enforcement environment.
Conditions of Employment

Various levels of security clearance are required. Canadian citizenship is mandatory for a Top Secret clearance. Successful candidates must obtain a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and maintain it throughout employment.
