Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, in English.

Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • The Laborer performs various shop duties as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
  • Steam clean and/or sandblast various electrical apparatus assemblies.
  • Prepare and paint motor parts.
  • Assist in the mechanical, rewind and machine shop as directed by the Shop Supervisor
  • Scrap electrical apparatus.
  • Operate machinery as designated by the Shop Supervisor.
  • Keep the shop clean at all times.
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
  • Keep work area neat and clean.
  • Ensure company safety policies and OH&S regulations are followed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, in the English language.
