Job summary

A municipal government in Canada is seeking a Planner 1 to join their Development team. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience related to professional planning, preferably in a municipal environment.
  • Eligible for membership with the CIP or Planning Institute of BC.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License for British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Design processes and data collection methods to track housing targets.
  • Support the administration and collection of Amenity Cost Charges (ACCs).
  • Prepare reports and make presentations to Committee and senior management.
  • Lead review of development applications and provide technical analysis.
  • Engage with City departments, community groups, and external agencies.
