Base pay range : $55.00 / hr - $100.00 / hr

Role Overview
  • Position : Insurance Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
  • Commitment : 15–25 hours / week, flexibility up to 40 hours / week
  • Duration : 1–2 months
  • Contribute to high-impact AI projects in insurance. Help refine AI systems for real-world insurance workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Review and validate AI-generated outputs in pricing, reserving, underwriting, and risk modeling.
  • Evaluate actuarial projections for accuracy and regulatory alignment in mortality, morbidity, and loss development.
  • Provide structured feedback on assumptions, clarity, and methodology consistency.
  • Stress-test AI outputs across claims scenarios, reserve adequacy, and solvency models.
  • Tag and organize content by insurance domain such as life, health, property & casualty, and reinsurance.
  • Support benchmarking to assess AI capabilities in actuarial science and insurance operations.
Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in actuarial practice, insurance analytics, underwriting, or risk modeling.
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with actuarial software / tools like Prophet, AXIS, R, Python.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASA, ACAS, or equivalent certification.
  • Location : US, UK, CA, AUS, NZ preferred.
Engagement Details
  • Start Date : Immediate
  • Duration : 1–2 months
  • Commitment : Part-time (15–25 hours / week, with flexibility up to 40 hours / week)
  • Schedule : Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours
  • Compensation : Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($55–$100 USD / hr)
