Your Opportunity

Unit 22 is an acute inpatient Cardiology/Telemetry Unit where a candidate with experience and skill can manage a population of complex, unpredictable, and unstable patients. We are actively building our Cardiac Unit for a future filled with growth, innovation, and opportunity. This is an exciting time to join our team as we expand and evolve to meet the increasing needs of our community. The RN provides care throughout the lifespan in all stages of health and complexities of illness. If you're passionate about cardiac care and ready to be part of something dynamic and forward-looking, we invite you to apply.

The UNE is an unregulated member of the collaborative health care team who provides patient centred care with the supervision of the RN or RPN. The nursing activities performed, and level of supervision required are determined by legislation, standards of supervision outlined by regulatory colleges, Alberta Health Services (AHS) policy, educational preparation, practice setting, complexity of the patient, level of risk involved, and competency of the UNE.
