Overview

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson and Experienced Apprentice Pipefitters with turnaround experience for a Turnaround in Jumping Pound, AB, starting late September. In this position, you will enjoy a straight through schedule, 12-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. This position is open to both local and non-local candidates. Non-local candidates will receive a Living Out Allowance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipefitting work as a Journeyperson or Experienced Apprentice during a turnaround in Jumping Pound, AB.
• Maintain a straight-through schedule with 12-hour workdays and adhere to project safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams, adhere to local regulations, and ensure timely completion of tasks within the turnaround scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in oil and gas.
• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate / ticket.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020
• H2S Alive
• Fall Protection
• WHMIS
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional information: This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
