Imagine being part of a dynamic team that designs innovative solutions for our diverse set of clients. Our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering (TPTE) group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services and we have an immediate opening for an intermediate transportation planner/engineer to be an integral part of our team. As a Transportation Planner/Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects. While working as a technical team member, you may provide immediate supervision and guidance to junior employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals for accuracy and completeness, and maintaining tasks’ schedule and budget with high-level supervision of an assigned senior staff or the TPTE lead. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who takes initiative with demonstrated knowledge and experience in engineering and planning projects, understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent communication skills including technical writing and presentation skills, and demonstrated experience with transportation planning, data analysis and modelling.
TPTE team uses a hybrid working environment. Some travel may be required, such as site visits, delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. May visit study areas, construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions. Position will be full-time hybrid employment for a transportation planner/engineer with desire to progress toward seniority.
