We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead with 10+ years of experience driving complex, high-impact change initiatives to join our team as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the C-suite Office. In this in-person role, you will play a pivotal part in advancing national priorities, optimizing operations, and leading strategic execution across the firm.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, skilled problem-solver, and effective communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will act as a sounding board to senior leadership, champion innovation, and identify opportunities to leverage internal resources, technology, and AI to enhance how our business operates and delivers value.

This role will be based out of our Toronto office and will be part of a collaborative in-person team. Some travel is expected.

What you will do

Strategic Leadership and Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic and trusted partner to the C-suite, proactively contributing ideas, fostering a high-performing team culture, and accelerating strategic priorities.
  • Supporting the advancement of national priorities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and firm strategy.

Program and Change Management

  • Manage and oversee multiple major change programs aligned with strategic priorities, including building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders at leadership levels and external third parties.
  • Apply structured project management discipline to ensure initiatives are tracked, governed, and delivered successfully.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to maintain alignment, accountability, and measurable progress.

Operational Excellence and Performance Measurement

  • Set and monitor key performance indicators to measure ROI for major initiatives and the function.
  • Pinpoint and address core issues within business processes in a proactive manner with business insight.
  • Identify areas of improvement across the function and make actionable recommendations.
  • Drive simplification and consistency across operations to support scalable, efficient delivery.

Executive Communication and Representation

  • Act on behalf of the C-suite leader to answer inquiries and progress strategic initiatives.
  • Lead meetings and workshops, provide insights, and oversee communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the development of presentations, dashboards, and executive reports for senior leaders and partners.
What you bring to the role
  • Proven experience (10+ years) leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact, ideally in professional services or regulated environments.
  • Deep understanding of the public accounting regulatory environment and/or tax and advisory services.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, thriving in dynamic, high-visibility settings and building trust across all levels.
  • Passion for championing innovation and leveraging AI and technology to improve business operations and deliver value.
  • Sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in executive-level presentations and business insights.
  • CPA designation and/or MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • In-person presence required; some travel may be expected.
