The Opportunity

What you will do:
  • Training management: leadership and management of site training plans in coordination with the learning and development organization. This includes responsibility for safety and compliance campaigns, delivery of current programs, identification of gaps in programming, and strategic development of new programs to align with business needs.
  • Competency management: competency development of employees, determination of the correct learning offers and experiences for current and future roles, and ensure training is aligned with development needs.
What you will bring:
  • Formal training (degree, diploma, specialized training) in education, adult education, and/or competency development;
  • 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in an industrial environment;
  • 5+ years of experience in competency evaluation and program development; and,
  • demonstrated experience in delivery of training/program facilitation.
