The Community Services Department, Infrastructure Division, is accepting applications for the position of Traffic Technician. Reporting to the Manager, Traffic, this position is responsible for addressing road safety concerns and operational issues related to traffic, parking, and construction through investigation, analysis, and implementation of traffic initiatives.
Undertakes field investigations related to traffic operations, parking, traffic control signals, pavement markings and road construction
Determines need for new traffic control devices on municipal roadways through data analysis
Authors written correspondence and reports to Council, and the general public related to traffic engineering including preparation of technical recommendations
