Our Oakville Chevrolet dealership is looking for a Tower Operator (Service Dispatcher) to join our amazing team!

As an integral part of the Budds’ Chevrolet team, the Tower Operator plans, organizes, prioritizes, and controls the workflow of the Service Department in a professional and timely manner. This role is key to maintaining shop efficiency and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and dispatch work to maximize shop efficiency
  • Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill set, experience, and availability
  • Prioritize vehicles to ensure timely and appropriate attention
  • Prepare estimates as required for the Used Car Department
  • Open and manage internal work orders as needed
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and warranty guidelines
  • Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report concerns promptly
  • Stay informed of federal, provincial, and municipal regulations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
  • Perform additional duties as required by management
Qualifications
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
  • Automotive Technician Licence is considered an asset
  • Previous automotive industry experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience with PBS dealership software is an asset (training provided to the right candidate)
