Job description

Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

Moosehead is seeking a results-driven sales professional to lead the business across Vancouver Island (Nanaimo or Duncan). The Territory Manager is accountable for delivering volume, distribution, and shelf execution outcomes that grow Moosehead’s presence and performance in all channels.

Job Duties
  • Deliver territory volume targets within allocated resources, with primary focus on retail
  • Drive incremental volume growth across existing retail customers; develop on-premise where strategically relevant
  • Achieve distribution targets and improve shelf position, facings, displays, and in-store execution
  • Own retail execution standards including shelf, display, pricing, and point-of-sale
  • Develop and execute a structured call cycle aligned with company standards using CRM and route planning tools
  • Champion brand, product, and promotional education with retail customers and store teams
  • Manage fixed territory budgets to maximize return on investment and volume growth to plan
  • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key retail customers and stakeholders
  • Execute merchandising to maximize brand visibility and impact in store
  • Implement national and regional programs with consistency and attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with established sales processes and execution standards
  • Own all administrative responsibilities including call reporting, business planning, forecasting, expense management, and assigned projects
  • Analyze territory sales data and trends to generate insights and support sound commercial decision-making
  • Act responsibly and professionally at all times with respect to the consumption and promotion of Moosehead products and all alcoholic beverages, in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations
  • Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement, ownership, and accountability
Skills/Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of sales experience within beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods
  • Demonstrated interest in beer; product knowledge and category curiosity considered a strong asset
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong analytical capability, including comfort working with quantitative sales data
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require
  • Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize company and regional objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with standard business and sales productivity tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM platforms
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kilograms in the course of building and merchandising displays
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with valid insurance and a clean driver’s license; driver’s abstract required
