Are you an experienced technical leader with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to aviation safety and operational excellence? BermudAir is seeking a Technical Support Manager to oversee the reliability, maintenance, and performance of our airside equipment and technical support services.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of BermudAir’s technical infrastructure. What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage day-to-day technical operations and mechanical services, ensuring full compliance with aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure continuous uptime and reliability of all airside infrastructure through proactive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and IT system maintenance and repairs
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure projects, including upgrades, refurbishments, and the integration of new ground support equipment and technologies
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Ensure all technical activities adhere to established safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify safety risks, drive continuous improvement, and mitigate operational exposure
  • Mentor, train, and develop mechanical and technical staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration
  • Prepare detailed reports, analyze performance data, and contribute to operational and strategic decision-making
What You’ll Bring
  • Extensive hands‑on mechanical and technical experience, particularly with ground service equipment and airside infrastructure
  • Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, electronic, and IT systems
  • Strong proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and fault‑finding techniques
  • Solid understanding of aviation safety standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing multidisciplinary technical teams, preferably within an airport
    or airline setting
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., Safety Awareness, Certified WHMIS, High‑Lift Operation, Fall Suppression)
  • Proven project management experience delivering mechanical and technical projects from planning through
    execution
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and leadership teams
