Currently, we have an opening for a position as an Technical Specialist - Training. The Technical Specialist – Training provides advanced technical expertise while leading training, coaching, and knowledge transfer across the organization. This role translates complex technical issues into structured training, technical guidance, and best practices, working closely with Learning & Competency, HR, and cross-functional teams to strengthen front-line capability and reduce repeat issues.

What you will be doing
  • Acts as a Technical Specialist and subject matter expert, providing advanced technical guidance and leading training sessions
  • Designs and delivers technical training programs, including new product and system updates
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to technicians, front line support teams, and customers
  • Supports first line escalations with a focus on knowledge transfer and issue prevention
  • Serves as a link between factory, Product Masters, and Sales Areas to ensure consistent technical knowledge
  • Captures field feedback and incorporates insights into training materials and technical documentation
  • Strengthens front line technical capability, reducing repeat issues and improving safety outcomes
  • Co‑ordinates closely with Learning & Competency, HR, and cross‑functional departments to align technical training, capability development, and workforce needs
Environmental Health and Safety

What you will bring along
  • A 2-year Technical Degree/Diploma in a mechanical discipline (ex: HD Equipment, Electrician).
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience.
  • Training in key aspects of technical and operator trades.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills including detailed site visit reports.
  • Bilingual in both French and English is considered an asset.
  • Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Flexible, self‑motivated, and driven to achieve customer satisfaction, goals, and targets.
  • Strong investigation and diagnostic skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of customer’s industry.
  • Superior customer relations and active listening skills.
  • Ability to travel is essential.
  • Positive attitude.
