Position Available

St. Michaels College School welcomes teacher applicants with the following qualifications abilities and experience :

  • Intermediate and Senior Divisions with qualifications in Religious Education
  • Intermediate Division with qualifications in English
  • Honours Specialist - English and / or Religion is an asset
  • Member in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Additional qualifications are deemed assets including Religious Education Part 1
  • Willingness to uphold the teachings and values of the Catholic faith and provide a letter from your parish priest confirming that you are a practicing Catholic
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario curriculum specifically with Growing Success
  • Ability to foster a caring and professional rapport with students faculty staff parents and guardians
  • Ability to promote collaboration by leveraging technology with platforms such as Zoom MS O365 recording video lessons using screen capture software etc.
  • Training and experience with inquiry-based and problem-based learning is an asset
  • Willingness to participate in the schools co-curricular programme including coaching and / or moderating activities.

Reports to : Principal

Rate of Pay : As per the SMCSTA Collective Agreement.

2025-26 A4 range : Level 0 $77632.99 to Level 10 $136053.58
