A leading North American energy services company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Mississauga. In this full-time role, you will focus on recruiting for Field Services roles, managing the complete recruitment cycle, and enhancing candidate experience. What Makes This Role Great

You’ll be instrumental in scaling Rodan’s workforce during a period of significant growth—building pipelines for field services talent, and elevating our candidate experience and employer brand. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, gain deep domain knowledge across metering and emerging technologies (including BESS), and help put skilled technicians at the forefront of the energy transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Primary focus

  • Source, engage, and screen candidates primarily for Field Services roles (self‑contained, instrument, complex metering); maintain high‑quality shortlists.
  • Own interview logistics: schedule, coordinate panels, and manage candidate communications via ATS and Outlook/Teams.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines; track progress and funnel metrics in ATS.

Secondary support

  • Recruit for junior–intermediate roles across the business on an as‑needed basis.
  • Drive co‑op and campus recruiting: build relationships with post‑secondary programs; manage term cycles and conversions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to craft role‑specific assessments for the stage‑three assignment; ensure consistent evaluation criteria.
  • Collaborate on social media and employer brand initiatives to increase qualified applications.
  • Report weekly on requisition status, pipeline health, time‑to‑fill, and conversion at HM interview stage (target 25%).
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must‑Haves)
  • 2+ years full‑cycle talent acquisition; ideally recruiting for trades/field services.
  • Proven high‑volume phone outreach and screening experience; comfortable with outbound/active sourcing.
  • Strong ATS proficiencyand tech savvy across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel/SharePoint).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership; able to influence and “sell the opportunity.”
  • Prioritization and organization in a fast‑moving, high‑change environment; strong work ethic.
  • Pipeline management discipline and data hygiene in ATS.
  • Hybrid availability: able to work on‑site 2–3 days/week in Mississauga.
  • Social media recruiting and basic campaign execution skills.
  • Experience coordinating interviews/booking, including panel logistics and assessments.
  • Comfort engaging with post‑secondary partners and co‑op programs.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience recruiting for energy, utilities, metering, or industrial services.
  • Exposure to technical screening for electricians/technicians and safety‑sensitive environments.
Work Arrangement & Hours
  • Full‑time, 8 hour schedule between the hours of8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, hybrid (Mississauga HQ).
  • Occasional flexibility for candidate availability and hiring manager schedules.
