Requirements
Must have:
  • Proven experience in systems administration within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, VMware/ESXi virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and various Linux distributions.
  • Hands‑on experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts, including DNS configuration, VPN setup, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell, and experience with the Git version control system.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Understanding of RESTful API integration and web technologies, including JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automating deployment processes.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), virtualization (e.g., VMware Certified Professional), or database management.
Responsibilities:

In this role, you will manage and support cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, ensuring their high availability and security.

You will maintain and optimize virtualization platforms, including VMware and ESXi.

Administer operating systems, including Windows and Linux, to uphold system stability and security.

Configure and troubleshoot network services such as DNS and VPNs.

Manage databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.

Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, or PowerShell to enhance operations.

Implement container orchestration with Kubernetes and manage DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Git, T‑SQL, and other CI/CD tools.

Monitor system performance and security logs, perform regular updates and patches to maintain system integrity.

Collaborate with development teams to support REST APIs and integrate various systems.

Document procedures, configurations, and policies for knowledge sharing within the team.
