Job summary

A charitable organization in Perth is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with complex disabilities. The ideal candidate will have social care experience and will help with personal care, medication, and day-to-day activities. We love what we do here and are looking to recruit a team of Support Workers for our Annaty service based in Perth.

The role Support Worker

We support people with a variety of complex disabilities to live independently in our bright, spacious, purpose-built residential setting, with idyllic grounds and amazing facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy and an accessible gym. Its an exciting time to join and help us shape our big plans for our brand new facilities, which are coming soon.

You will be supporting our customers on either one-to-one or group care; your day will include helping them with their personal care, dressing, medication, mealtimes and participating in their chosen activities for that day. These include arts and crafts, games days on campus or trips to the cinema, shopping, or football.

What you need to know :

Hours : 37 hours per week - Working a mix of day, back and night shifts.

Location : Annaty Service, Upper Springland Campus, Isla Road, Perth, PH2 7HQ.

Job Description :

Drivers preferred but not essential, whilst we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non-drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.

Due to customer choice for intimate care, some of these vacancies are only available to female candidates.
