Job Description

Candidates screening will continue through the summer and be ongoing during the 2025/26 school year.

Supply Teachers are essential to the success of our school community. As our district continues to expand, we are looking for qualified individuals to fill daily teaching vacancies across a wide range of classrooms, from Kindergarten through Grade 12. These positions are available in both English and French‑language classrooms, offering a diverse and flexible work environment that supports personal growth and professional development.

Please note that due to the nature of substitute teaching, assignments are often made on short notice. Therefore, applicants should reside within ASD‑S boundaries or in reasonable proximity to the assigned schools. If you live outside of the ASD‑S region, please explain in your application how you would meet this requirement.

  • Maintain accurate attendance and report any classroom incidents as required.
  • Assist with any additional classroom activities or duties as needed.
Qualifications

All applicants must hold a minimum of 60 post‑secondary credits. Priority will be given to applicants with a New Brunswick Teaching Certificate or those eligible to obtain one, as well as those available to accept daily assignments.
